Children's Program

Who We Are..
Forrester-Davis Development Center is a developmental day clinic that provides Day Habilitation and therapy services to developmentally delayed and/or disabled children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We are part of the AR Better Beginnings Program.

Who We Serve..
We are currently serving 92 developmentally delayed children. If space is available, we also provide staff children daycare during clinic hours for non-DD children.

Children in our Day Habilitation Program must go through a referral and testing process to determine if they meet the criteria for services, which include developmental delays in two or more areas including:

-Fine & Gross Motor Skills
-Cognitive Skills
-Communication Skills
-Self-Help Skills
-Social Skills

Each child is evaluated annually.
Children who qualify may also be referred and tested for speech, occupational, and physical therapy.

What We Offer..
We offer children with disabilities and/or developmental delays a comprehensive program that encompasses all developmental areas with quality early childhood education and a habilitative environment. Services are offered 25 hours weekly.
