Requirements For Entry Into M.A.C.
Programs are available to citizens aged 18 and over who have a professional diagnosis of mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and/or autism.
Applicants need to be medically stable, responsive to verbal and visual stimuli, capable of self-care or have reliable assistance available at admission and communicate a desire to work. An established funding source and medical examination is also necessary.
M.A.C. Industries provides a 60 day work training program through Arkansas Rehabilitation Services. Qualifying factors could include disabilities resulting from traumatic brain injury, cerebral dysfunction or substance abuse. Contact M.A.C. for further details.
